Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-10

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PlayrPath platform operated by PlayrPath Ltd., a federal Canadian corporation. By creating an account or registering an athlete you agree to these Terms.

1. Your account

You may create an account if you are at least 18 years old, or with a parent / guardian who creates the account on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

2. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Register an athlete you are not legally authorized to register
  • Attempt to access another club's data outside the platform's sharing controls
  • Bypass safeguarding measures including coach suspension lockouts
  • Submit false information about an athlete, coach, or any safety-related claim
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Canadian sport-governance rules

3. Safeguarding

PlayrPath enforces tiered coach suspension and pattern detection on registration attempts. By using the platform you acknowledge that we will retain certain records (audit logs, substantiated safeguarding findings) indefinitely as required by sport-governance and child-protection obligations.

4. Termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with legal obligations. Termination does not delete records retained under our Privacy Policy or this section.

5. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The platform is provided "as is". PlayrPath disclaims all implied warranties to the extent permitted by Canadian law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to liability (or CA$100 if no fees were paid).

6. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of Nova Scotia (or, where the dispute involves a sport-governance matter, the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada).

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-platform notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
